Why do I do this...

Why? To be better...

1. I promised (only a few people will know what this means, and if you don't, you will).
2. I am better than this.

Glimmer of Real Change

Its been awhile since my last post and I have had things I wanted to talk about, however I didn't put the pen to paper, so to speak.

Some of the things I wanted to talk about were diet, food, exercise and how they have been working together for me over the last few weeks. I strongly believe there likely is no end to the learning in regards to how these topics work together however the puzzle is really coming together for me, and I am starting to see I can live this way. This is a big topic so I definitely will becoming back here soon to discuss more of my thoughts.

The next thing I have been wanting to talk about is something I saw and read on another blog (please read this post--its awesome...you can find it here....Maren, From Cow to Wow).

Its an emotional "real" topic that I do not typically talk about, and definitely not in a forum such as this, but I do hope in the future I can talk about it more as it has great importance and is likely a huge key to life long success.

The post, Happiness vs Fatness talks about happiness and its relation to the way we look. I totally agree that we have to appreciate ourselves before all these life changes will have some sort of real change linked to them. I guess what I am saying is that I understand I have to be comfortable in my skin regardless of my weight to be happy.  This is a lesson I do need to work on internally and because of her post, I need to make sure I am, or much of this battle will never be won.

Now the reason(s) for today's post!!

1. An official pull up complete (today)!!
2. People beginning to see positive body changes.

Wow, both of these achievements have really made me feel great and have given me a kind of reward for all the hard work I have done over the last 7 1/2 months.

So today I feel I am now a stronger smaller person with momentum on my side, and because of this I want to say thank-you to all those have been supportive and have recognized my progress. So, thank-you to everyone for being on my side, it has been a great help.

So for fun...her is a before picture and a picture I took last week.

Once again, thank-you to everyone for their support. Its an integral part/success to the journey!
