Why do I do this...

Why? To be better...

1. I promised (only a few people will know what this means, and if you don't, you will).
2. I am better than this.

Weekly Round Up--Ending January 29th

Where to start? Diet? Exercise?  Passing thoughts?

Honestly, there is too much in my mind of late but I have not taken the time to spill it. This week I plan to write a couple times to hopefully get some of it out.

Over the years I have typically used my voice to communicate things face to face but its amazing how much opportunity for self realization, self development, and most importantly a journal (record) of thoughts, accomplishments and failures can do for attaining or pursuing a goal. I have never, until recently found this valuable, but I can confirm so far for me its a good way to get my propaganda out without interruption where as when I speak people tend distract or confuse my line of thought LOL. Silence the loud mouth (can't blame them we all have something to say)!!

Let's get the party started with...

The Good
  • orthotics ordered
  • 3 runs completed
  • 4 lbs lost
  • 2 gym workouts completed/2 upper body/2 elliptical
  • 1 CrossFit workout completed
  • decided to sign up for CrossFit 2-3 days per week
  • tracked all calories
  • stayed well under 2000 cal 5/7 days
  • drank my water 5/7 days
The Bad
  • NONE!
I have lots I want to talk about what I think made me successful this week, but I will save that for later this week!! The big one I want to talk about is stress.

In my first blog post I spoke about information (fitness/health/diet) and the mass amounts that are out there and sometimes reading it and applying it to your (my) life makes little sense. But as I said I think it is so important to still read it and not discount it until it is completely ruled out.

Guess what, I think last week I finished one of the those connect the dot puzzles and or color by numbers and may have solved in my mind a key way to new success. It now makes so much sense what I have been doing wrong!!

Check back for some STRESS!!!!

  1. I completely feel your pain and understand what you're going trough. The majority of our society wants to lose weight. I discovered a very cool website last year, it's called bodyrock.tv. They update it almost every day with exercise routines and diet tips. Hope it helps.

  2. Thank-you--yes those are definitely great workouts. I am still at a level where I have to pay money to endure that much pain otherwise there is no way I will do it!
